 Welcome from Brian McGregor

ffffff

Welcome to the latest edition of the eBay Auction Newsletter.

If you're a new subscriber, a particularly warm welcome to you.

I believe we will look back on 2008 as being a pivotal year in eBay's history. It's been difficult to avoid the negative press to which eBay and its management has been subject.

My wish for 2009 is that eBay let the dust settle on all the changes introduced in 2008, and they let buyers and sellers get used to operating within the new policies and guidelines.

In this Christmas edition of the newsletter, you'll find some items designed to entertain.

If you celebrate it, I wish you a joyous and peaceful Christmas. I also hope you have a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year.

Take care, and I look forward to speaking to you in 2009.

Here is your Christmas Card from me.

Be warned, you have to do a little bit of work to get to it...

 Christmas Present

Here's a nice little tool. It allows you to search 20 eBay country sites simultaneously with the same search term.

You'll get the idea when you go to:

Why do we panic?

Try this Christmas Santa game and you'll find out. It took me ages to get to the end...

Scroll down the page for the playing instructions, and...

.....don't panic (and no swearing either!)

 Another Christmas Present

Here's another potentially useful tool, if you're a buyer on eBay.

With "Stuff Alert", you tell it what you're looking for, and it continually monitors eBay (currently USA and UK) and emails you when an item appears that matches your search term.

If it doesn't find anything matching your term, it will keep looking 24 x 7 or until you tell it to stop.

So, instead of you having to keep going onto eBay to see if the specific item has been listed, Stuff Alert will keep checking for you.

When it does find an item that matches your search term, it send you an email with a direct link to the specific eBay auction.

You can find out more here:

 Christmas Entertainment Three

Hope you haven't had too much of the Christmas spirit - if you know what I mean!

You'll need all your powers of concentration to do this one...
